Hello! Welcome to Dean's Page.
See photos of my tour of duty with the U.S. Air Force
Dean's Page is devoted to showing you some of the pictures that I took during my tour of duty with the U.S. Air Force. From March of 1966 until August of 1967, I was stationed at Keesler AFB in Mississippi and at Dover AFB in Delaware. I was a student in Morse Intercept at Keesler and learned Air Freight at Dover. The photos of Keesler and Dover were taken with a cheap Kodak snapshot camera and an old 35MM camera that I got from my aunt.
While I was at Dover AFB, I received orders to go to Vietnam. I served at Bien Hoa AB from August 1967 to August 1968. The Vietnam pictures were taken with a Yashica Lynx 5000 camera that was purchased in Japan.
All the pictures on the website are digital images scanned from both prints and slides. I've added some information about each picture so you will understand the context in which it was taken. Below the photograph of the F-4 Phantom jet is the link to the first page.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and are able to learn something about what it was like to serve in Vietnam at that time. I want to thank you for visiting Dean's Page. Please come back again soon.
