Dover AFB Barracks
At Dover Air Force Base, I was assigned to the 436th Military Airlift Wing. At that time, the 436th MAW was part of 21st Air Force, which in turn was part of the Military Airlift Command, or "MAC." Procedures within MAC weren't as rigid as they were in the Air Training Command, which was a welcome relief for me. This is a photograph of the barracks where I lived while I was stationed at Dover.
