Rough Terrain Loader
Most days we would have a fairly good idea at the beginning of each shift about how many planes were coming into port to load ammunition. Sometimes, however, an extra plane would arrive, and we would have to go to the revetments to get the ammunition for it. In this photo, you can see aluminum pallets of ammunition being picked up by a forklift and put onto our flat bed trailer to be taken to the loading ramp.
