At the end of 1967 and up until the Tet Offensive in January of 1968, we had three Vietnamese men working on our ramp. They helped with tying down the ammunition and with keeping the area cleaned up. After Tet they never came back. In fact, most of the Vietnamese who worked on the base weren't allowed to return for over a month. In their absence, we all started to pull K.P.
