C-130 Hercules
This is the C-130 Hercules aircraft. It was the largest of the three cargo planes that we loaded off the east ramp. It was a real workhorse. Someone once said that the U.S. Air Force never lost money when they bought C-47s or C-130s. I don't know if the C-47s are still flying or not, but the C-130 is still widely used for a variety of purposes, besides just carrying cargo. That's remarkable because the Vietnam War ended over 40 years ago.
